Comment: The Canal Saint Martin, runs some 3 miles underground before ending in the Seine River. The extraordinary lighting provided by openings on the ceiling reflecting in the water, bring a surreal atmosphere which explain its nickname "Magic Tunnel". The access is forbidden to the public, but if you dare jumping a fence while the lockkeeper at the entrance is busy, the promenade is memorable, you can even catch crawfishes
